BOV elects Darden dean as 10th president
Amid protests and calls to cease the presidential search, UVA’s Board of Visitors unanimously elected Scott Beardsley as the university’s 10th president.
Total first-year applications to UVA surge to 82,089
In this year’s admissions cycle, total applications surged—to 82,089, a 27 percent jump from last year and a 153 percent increase from 2016.
