The Banks and Bradby Family Scholarship was created in 2021 by Shavonne Banks Gordon, a 1995 graduate of the School of Engineering and Applied Science. She and her family value education and hope this scholarship will enable the recipients to attend the University of Virginia with fewer financial worries and less debt upon graduation. Eligible applicants include students who are pursuing STEM majors, and awards may be renewed for up to four years of undergraduate study provided recipients maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above and remain eligible for financial aid.
